Cistern Relining
A leaking cistern does not usually need to be replaced, and paint-on sealants often fail, only work temporarily, and are not all food safe. A custom liner is guaranteed to stop the leak, protects against future cracking and settling, seals out groundwater that can carry lawn and garden chemicals, and typically lasts 15 to 20 years. Every liner is laser-measured on site and custom made for your exact tank, any size or shape, including cisterns with columns or interior walls. Installation takes one day, and in almost every project your water is delivered that same day. You do not need to do anything to prepare: we handle it all, from pumping and cleaning the cistern to having it ready for water delivery.

Cistern Maintenance

Filtering
Clean water at the tap takes the right filters in the right order: a sediment filter to remove larger particles, a properly sized activated charcoal block for micro-size contaminants, and a UV sterilizer as the final barrier. We size every system correctly, because undersized units fail quickly and cost more to maintain.
Bubbler Systems
Stagnant water loses oxygen, which lets sulfur-reducing bacteria grow and create a rotten-egg smell and taste. Pouring in chlorine bleach does not fix it, it covers the smell and contaminates the water. The real fix is a bubbler system: a timed air pump that runs a couple hours a day, keeps your stored water oxygenated and moving, and releases excess heat.
